Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Science, Information Technology, Electrical Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field from reputable higher institution  (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Candidate MUST have CCNA.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, subnetting, VPN).
  • Basic knowledge of network equipment and technologies, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SNMP, ICMP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Job Description

  • As a Graduate Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the necessary skills to become a proficient network engineer. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about networking and eager to kick-start their career in the field. You will work closely with experienced network engineers and receive hands-on training to gain practical knowledge and experience in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Duties

  • Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure based on project requirements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
  • Perform network monitoring and analysis to ensure optimal network performance and availability.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Participate in network security activities, such as implementing and monitoring access controls and security measures.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices and standards for network design, configuration, and management.
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends to contribute to the continuous improvement of network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as system administrators and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for change management, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Actively participate in training programs and certifications to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
